Tourism Signage for Distilleries

Obtaining road signage for your distillery can provide significant assistance to customers to locate your business, but the process of obtaining this signage has been difficult to arrange. The winery industry has long been provided with comprehensive guidance from the Victorian Government to implement this key piece of infrastructure.

Following enquiries made by one of the Spirits Victoria Committee members, the Victorian Government has confirmed that the next edition of the Tourism and Service Signs guidelines will be amended to align the treatment of distilleries with that of wineries. We are also aware the National Tourism Signing Reference Group is investigating the possibility for a dedicated distillery symbol for use on road signs.
